  3. Looks like turnout was slightly up from 2016. I’m seeing 176k. So, that would be behind 2008. But accounting for the demo changes in the state, that makes sense.

So, like ... 12% of the registered voters in Iowa. Caucuses suck.

  5. Dear (good) publications, now’s the time to prove you know how to report on this.

So far: Reuters bad. Buzzfeed good. NYT good. NBC good.

  6. Love that the NYT sent them the errors:

    “Is this hell?”
    “No it’s Iowa.”

CNN should walk that back immediately but they probably won't say anything for like 24hrs

Team biden is probably so happy about this nonsense, they're gonna keep spinning it like they have been

Iowa polls in the weeks ahead of the caucus polled for traditional popular vote, right? IE were they more or less accurate?

  12. This is a little outdated, but pretty good:

  14. I think the second alignment number is what I’d use to say “Bernie won.” Because I like ranked choice voting and like seeing what happens with second choice votes and all that.

Looks like he’ll win by 2,631. I’m glad his team pushed to have these numbers released; less glad they also wanted to keep the caucuses tho.

It's gonna happen, they're gonna reveal the winner on the same day

  16. Uh, CNN, your job is to report ... there’s errors any intern could figure out for you ... shouldn’t you ... report that? Don’t just post press releases.

If this ends up being true: CNN bad.

I almost think they like being called fake news, they're literally begging for djt to weigh in on this and crush them

  18. Bernie's social media has been "we won" since his press conference today.

The DNC must think we're completely stupid. I don't care so much about the results for Iowa - it's just that the way this was done was designed to give Mayor Pete like 5 different victory laps, including again tonight and this bullshit has directly impacted the NH primary in a big way. Mayor Pete is up huge and is now in striking distance of Bernie, he was way behind a week ago
