  5. Trump Fans Flooded Iowa Caucus Hotline, Democrats Say
According to two participants on the call, Ken Sagar, a state Democratic central committee member, was among those answering the hotline on caucus night and said people called in and expressed support for Trump. The phone number became public after people posted photos of caucus paperwork that included the hotline number, one of the people on the call said.

The phone call Wednesday night between the Iowa Democratic Party staff and state central committee, the party’s elected governing body, came as the party was still counting results.

We are not ready for this election. We are not ready at all.

It would probably take at least like 20 years to get the entire party realistically ready for 2016

The fact that he felt the need to enter the race means he's a bad candidate. He could've just endorsed Bernie or Warren if he actually wanted the progressive views he's throwing out there to win. But he didn't. Because he needs to make sure his billionaire interests are protected

Any idea if there is enough left in IA01 for Warren to get the 5 SDEs she needs to take another delegate from Biden?

  14. I can’t tell for sure.

  15. I’m not gonna make it through five states am I? The bullshit conspiracy stuff is gonna do me in. If it gets posted here again tonight or tomorrow my brain may actually just pop.

i would assume it's being sent certified return receipt so there will at least be tracking and another paper trail for the ballot.

Does the delegate count really even matter that much? Iowa is so small. Sanders won the popular vote. That's what should matter for the sake of the media narrative, not some nonsensical delegate distribution system

  18. Nope. Barely matters. Mostly just a narrative thing. NH too.

But Jason, the DNC is trying to rig the primary against Bernie. Don't you know that?

Jake Tapper saying Pete “was right to say that” about declaring victory in Iowa, as to basically say he can now be vindicated and forgiven. Fuck the fuck offfffff

Just from my own memory, it seems like the popular vote was the media focus in 2016. I remember seeing the ~0.2% gap in the PV pushed in the headlines much more than the delegate count.

Granted, Hillary won both measures, so it didn't really matter in that case. But it's irritating me now that the immediate focus on SDEs this time seems to be a departure, and one that from early on Monday evening was obviously going to favor Mayo.
