I wonder if Abrams would do it. Feel like online Bernie fans would explode if it’s Harris. Pete/Harris feels more likely.

Yeah. I have a friend who studies bees for a living and she said so many animals in zoos theses days are born into the captivity, they would die in the wild. Obviously there will be shit zoos that treat animals terribly and they need to be found out. But the majority seem to have really moved towards giving the animals the best life possible.

also the zoo near me has an African safari where you stand face to face with giraffes and feed them from your hand and seeing kids faces light up from that is incredible.

Yeah I think the olden days of zoos going out and capturing wild animals and stealing them from their habitats are mostly over here in the US. All the animals these days are either born in captivity as part of endangered species programs or are rescued from the wild after being hurt/poisoned/orphaned/etc

My wife and I got to do that at....Denver Zoo? I think? and it was really cool. The giraffes tongues have no concept of your personal space lol
