SDE's are like the middle step used to elect national delegates. Rather than using the raw vote totals they use the SDEs

Ultimately pledged delegates are what really matters

I can always be better, so I'll always try. Supporter

Politicians are getting better and better at getting through bad news cycles. I'd rather have people argue over decorum than talk about what a clusterfuck Iowa was.

  5. It’s been this way every single year. It was talked about over and over how SDE is how the media will call a winner. This has become deranged.

  13. I feel like that level of microdata for Iowa specifically is pretty pointless. at least to extrapolate anything from

Was worried this would happen because if the “electability” thing. Can see a lot of the undecideds breaking somewhere more moderate as their fear that a “socialist” can’t beat Trump overrides their desire for whatever policies they like

the interesting thing is both “conspiracy theories” now actually actively helped Bernie.

the poll getting spiked and the long delay between announcing the “winner” because of app issues lowkey are good for Bernie going into NH.

  22. Yeah the worse Biden does, the more afraid they become of electing a woman or someone too liberal, it seems like that could be true. I had assumed it would be Booker playing that role, someone with actual experience, but now I wonder if that could offer Bloomberg a path if/and undecided voters take that escape hatch.

Or, Bernie’s ground game could activate new voters and make this moot and we call Iowa an outlier.

Warren and Amy seem pinched in this scenario.
