the visuals are great, and I legitimately loved the first 15 min, but yeah I would wait until this is streaming.

Rebecca Hall did a great job in The Awakening and I was about to get mad at that tweet's image based on how it got cut off lol. Looking forward to The Night House

Just watched Terrifier. Whoa... that scene.

what other horror movies do I need to catch up on? I’ve been out of the loop the last year or so

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Just rewatched Suspiria (2018) and still really enjoy it. That sixth act is just wild.

I haven't read any reviews, but the reactions from people who I usually trust to gauge what I'd enjoy in genre have been pretty positive on it. I like the slow burn creepy style that people have described. i'll likely be checking it out in theatres if I get a chance.

Just premiered at Sundance so it will undoubtedly go into limbo and if we are lucky it will come out in like October lol

Just watched Mandy last night. What a wonderfully odd film.

The scene with Mandy and Jeremiah's faces blending was really great.

Doug Benson on his Doug Loves Movie podcast hyped this up when it came out but always recited this scene, which prompted me to check it out

I’m glad to hear you thought so as we seem to align on most stuff. I plan on seeing it in the next few days.

  20. Haven't really been interested in any of the new horror, despite having actors I like (Finn Wolfhard in The Turning, Sophia Lillis in Gretel and Hansel, and John Cho in The Grudge). January-February seems like the time when studios dump the films they have less faith in while awards season plays out.

i love the first Saw, liked 2 and 3, checked out after that, but i'm pretty surprised that i'm actually interested in the trailer. we'll see as we get closer, but it feels more scaled back then the series had gotten to where all the games just felt so in your face and look at how complex and bloody we can get.

That still feels like a SNL parody done seriously, but the trailer is interesting. Spiral: From The Book Of Saw is a weird title, like they’re trying to distance themselves from being a Saw movie
