i agree with this controversial opinion. my issue with "sleep" isn't that it's not a good song though, it's great, i just think its placement on the album is awkward for the overall pacing. a non-"teenagers" banger should've been snuck into the second half of black parade, i wish it were "kill all your friends"

 

That final chorus where Gerard just lets loose with “JUST SLEEP!” At the top of his lungs. Beautiful

Probably SING. But even then, the bridge is pretty awesome so it mostly redeems itself. Cubicles has some pretty awful lyrics too.

i can definitely go either way on Teenagers. I like it, but i think the only time i actually listen to it is when I do a full album listen of TBP.

Yeah I was never big on Sing either, definitely my least favorite single of theirs.

 

don't get me wrong, i think "sleep" should be there! it would just benefit from not being placed after both "cancer" and "mama" imo

I love Danger Days but yeah Sing is probably my least favorite MCR song

 

I think Mama and Sleep is one of the best pairings in their discography. They fit so perfectly together.

No order for any of this outside of the tierings I guess

Also 6-10 (or 11-15 for that matter) would probably be my 1-5 for any other band in the general genre
