Sara was going to surprise me with MCR tickets but it's basically sold out besides shitty triple priced platinum tickets so guess I'm never seeing them lol

 

I don't think they're any more niche than most big bands from the 00s

 

Maybe it’s just the people I hang out with but half the people I know are trying to get tickets so they don’t feel niche to me haha

 

Nostalgia is truly a hell of a drug

 

I could be wrong haha

 

More tickets may open up good vibes

 

They were huge. They went way beyond being a scene band. Everyone knew them.

I VASTLY underestimated the popularity of MCR. I had no idea this many people were interested in a reunion.

 

I say this all the time but i used to get last minute tickets all the time to arena shows. Usually the first few rows (like in the first section after the pit) open up like 48-24 hours before the show

all that to say, don’t lose hope if you don’t get tickets

 

I think some of you folks would be surprised to learn just how many current teenagers are obsessed with MCR

 

Sara works for a TM venue and can see the sales, doesn't look like anything is opening up haha

I had a pit ticket in my cart somehow along with a random club one and while trying to remove the club one the entire site died and ate itself again and now they’re both gone forever. Hopefully that slot went to some small child who is now crying happily.

 

Yeah MCR tickets ain’t happening for me this time. Just got good tickets for the 1975 in June and can’t justify $100+ again right now.

 

MCR held up incredibly well too. If I heard Take Off Your Pants And Jacket for the first time today I would hate it but The Black Parade would blow me away

 

And the seats that are left are terrible and they are still charging upwards to $195 to sit in the upper decks behind the band.

 

I always say I hate a lot of the music I liked as teenager now/it feels really dated

Listened to three Cheers and TBP a lot since I got tickets to see them and they both hold up

 

MCR was definitely one of my first favorite bands so I'm sad that I'm not going to see this tour

I remember getting the Black Parade and a nice speaker sound system for Christmas that year it came out

 

I didn't like MCR in high school, pretty much just never listened to them and made fun of them. I didn't realize how big they were til I came here

 

We're going to Wawa. Caitlin says they suck and we'll go to Sheetz later

 

TBP is an all time great record
