@Ken have you listened to Geoffs podcast? I only listened to one episode but it was with Chris Conley and it was tremendous listening to them talk as they both have had major substance abuse issues.

 

I fucking loved seeing Thursday play Full Collapse last year because Geoff looked so god damn genuinely happy to be performing those songs.

 

i have a vivid memory of buying that album at smithhaven and then walking across the road to the movies to see Star Wars Episode III because they both came out like, the same week or a week apart - it was junior year lol

 

I’m so glad I went to as many shows as I did for the full albums. Geoff is the best.

 

of all the big bands of the emo scene, i think Thursday is the only one i never really got into.

 

I was obsessed with Thursday, WATT was my fave though

 

I don't think I've ever heard a Thursday song
If it wasn't on MTV 2 I didn't hear any scene band haha

Yes! He was so excited. Getting to meet him and talk to him for about 20 minutes is one of the best memories I have in recent years.

Two of their albums had a lot of airplay on MTV2 in the early 2000s.

My college roommate went to high school with these guys and said they were the worst people, which has since been proven haha.

 

Thrice got me in on Alchemy Index and Beggars. I knew the big songs before then but i was never hooked on them until those releases. I don't think anything post-beggars has been anything monumental. Seeing the Vheissu tour next weekend though and excited about that.

This was my first band merch I ever really owned except it was a hoodie, I fuckin loved it an it's also p ironic lol

 

I've loved Thrice for a long time, and although their last album is by far their weakest since their debut, I'm glad they're still playing.

This was the album that got me into them.

 

I still believe that Thrice is/was the best band of that scene. Their newer material isn't as strong as some of their older/middle-era material, but it still sounds good to me.
