i didn't properly get into music until like 2013 so i missed all the emo bands but was there for pop punk bands lol

 

my boss is out for most of the morning so I'm finally living my dream of listening to music at my desk
gotta enjoy the little victories

 

Then I'm going to see Thursday lol

Same it was like Helena and The Ghost of You and I'm Not Okay that I was super into back when they were huge songs but that's it. Idk why I never really listened to anything beyond that cause they were one of those bands that I should've been super into but then again I never got super into FOB or Panic! either so idk.

 

Maybe that will be when we meet! Of course I have no idea about getting tickets, which is an issue.

 

Yes! I have not been following the MCR tour news at all, so I am really clueless.

 

all US shows go onsale today at noon and I am ready to do battle

 

But Thursday...now that's a band that always had my heart. Pretty much got me into post-hardcore. I've had tickets TWICE to see Full Collapse and had to sell them both times because the first time I had to go away to see my ex's family and the second time I sold them because he was getting upset I was going to so many shows...to be fair to him I was definitely doing it to avoid spending time with him so it's not his fault per se but yeah I felt guilty about it and sold them and I have to live with that

 

They go on sale today at noon and I remember the Wells Fargo Center’s website being absolutely terrible the last time I bought tickets. Plus I don’t necessarily want to drop a ton of money today and I know that will be a given. May just have to try to get one last minute or something.

 

I only knew the singles for My Chemical Romance and pretty much every band

 

Man I gotta pay rent tomorrow and will so broke I don't even think I can afford my cup of coffee a day this week and I haven't bought tickets to any of the shows I want to go to in the next few months.

Seeing Andrea Gibson with Hannah in a few weeks though and I am very excited for that.

 

I loved MCR and Panic, never got into FOB really

 

MCR is Cait's absolute number one band

 

i think i got into FOB more post-hiatus, though i was obsessed with From Under the Cork Tree

Yeah! They are playing like 25 mins away in an arena that is extremely easy to travel to. I think im gonna surprise her with tickets. She got me poppy tickets lol

 

In high school hated FOB and Panic because it brought all the jocks into my music scene I was extremely snobby about

 

Idk about Jake but I know Lisa and Ken are a lil older than me, I was into all those bands only two Panic albums but those were my bread and butter. You only really need TPB and Three Cheers for My Chem but the other two are fine and have some bangers

 

I'm so sorry you had to miss them! They put on such a great show. I skipped their No Devolucion tour and was devastated when they broke up. I've been to every show in my area since they've started playing shows again. Hopefully they decide to continue to tour and make new music soon.

Ah, I see. I'm definitely holding out to see if Thursday does open for them. If they do, then I'll be scrambling to find tickets.
