Haha I mean I've only noticed the headliners before, but it usually makes me think "hmm if I lived there I would go, but I woulnd't travel". This one I don't think I'd even go if I lived there (except like I said, maybe the day top plays).

Last year Bunbury had Fall Out Boy, The 1975, Girl Talk, Run the Jewels, Dashboard Confessional, Clutch, Bayside, Streetlight Manifesto, The Aces, Poppy, Jukebox the Ghost

    This year...does not...

EDIT: 2018's lineup was legitimately awesome, tbh.

It could be fake too. I found it on Reddit. We'll find out for sure tonight.

    "Chorus hivemind"

If people thought it was good, they would say it was good. But people don't think it's good, so they're saying it's not good, like literally any other thing that could be discussed on this site.

Well Chorus' definition of what is considered "good" is pretty awful. Case in point - Nine.

I can't speak for others, but I go to about every kind of festival there is (the "big" ones like Lolla, edm fests, pitchfork, rock/punk fests, country fests. Bunbury just does not have much to offer me this year. Not sure how that is a hivemind

I don't know, it's just kind of weird to lump it all in as "Chorus" feels this way, when you could simply just say, "I disagree, I like this lineup. [x] bands on it are cool." That's the point of a forum is to discuss and give differing opinions, y'know? Kind of odd to assume everyone's not able to think for themselves and just hopping on a hate train when, maybe, everyone just didn't happen to like it.

Case in point, I agree with you, I thought Nine was pretty bad.

Fair. Fair. When there's multiple comments in a row talking about how it's awful makes me lump it that way.

So I guess I'll say, Avett Bros, AVA, Regrettes, Betty Who, Cake, IDK How, The Struts...all would be fun to watch.

21P is a good get from a mainstream radio perspective, as is Melanie Martinez. And the kids love the Marshmallow DJ friend. Not my taste but it seems as though the fest booked these acts with intention.

Very fair! Appreciate your clarification for sure.

There are definitely some acts I would watch. If I lived in Cinci and won tickets or something, I'd watch Twenty One Pilots, Avett Brothers, Angels & Airwaves, Cake, Old Crow, Ski Mask, The Struts, Coin, and Flor. Nothing I'd run down for, but some cool stuff in there for sure.

The chance to potentially see Twenty One Pilots on my birthday has me screaming, begging its real and that they play on June 7th. I’d travel down for sure

I believe the official announcement last year was in Mid-March. But I’d be cool with one even earlier.

I love Bunbury. I went the past two years and even went as far as to pre-order tickets to it this time because they’ve put together so many solid acts that I love. I look back and literally only one year ever has had a lineup I wouldn’t love to see. This year competes with that year as having the absolute least acts. One out of 6 of the main artists on the top 2 lines are in my wheelhouse... and I just saw them a couple months ago. Last year the lineup was top heavy- but I’m pretty sure of that top heavy lineup 3 or 4 of the top 6 were really exciting for me. The year before I think I was extremely excited for not only the top of the lineup, but also several of the depth artists. This year there’s a couple depth artists, but I regret buying tickets. If there’s ANYONE that wants to buy my tickets before I throw them on stubhub, please reach out and I’ll sell them for less than you’ll pay the festival itself for sure.

    Hellogoodbye
    Saosin
    Less Than Jake
    Fireworks

Volumes released a full statement concerning the departure of Gus and Diego Farias and the return of Michael Barr and within it, they said they have an "exciting" US tour to announce soon.

How do you think Valencia is a possibility? They haven't toured in years.... just holiday one offs.

How likely would Mayhem be? It would be a good opportunity to introduce the new era of the band to both new and old fans.

After The Burial was rumored to have a Spring headliner lined up. Volumes would be a terrific opener.
