i’m probably not gonna see ‘The Gentleman’ but one thing that bothers me is that every ad i see for it on twitter or IG praises it as, and i quote, “a triumphant return to gangster comedy”.

This show is going to completely ruin my feelings about Kieran Culkin.

 

I think what they mean is it's a triumphant return for Guy Ritchie to doing gangster comedy, since he hasn't made one in a while, not a return for the concept of a gangster comedy itself
