i never listened to the deerhunter cause the name made me think the music would be boring

 

they aren’t great. desire lines is one of the better songs last decade though

Halcyon Digest is an incredible album

 

Monomania is fantastic as well. Even their recent stuff is enjoyable in the right setting/mood.

 

People referring to them as THE deer hunter is driving me crazy lol.

The Dear Hunter is mad boring.

Helicopter is the greatest song of the last decade.

 

I didn’t really know any of those bands but based on the links they’re all boring you’re welcome

Punk in the 2010’s was incredibly uninteresting outside of women and minority groups doing their thing.

 

Yes!! His performance makes those last few Panic At The Disco releases unlistenable despite liking most of them at first.

 

Only thing I've ever liked from Panic is the first record and that's mostly due to high school nostalgia.

 

He and Pat Stump have shared a lot of tendencies over the years

 

His voice on the Into The Unknown cover is the most grating thing I’ve ever heard and I’m a Panic fan

 

That was where I started to notice it, dude went overboard on that. After that, I started to notice it more and more

 

I mean... Into the Unknown is a purposefully over-the-top Broadway-style song for a Disney movie, probably the last song you should critique him for.

 

But it goes hand and hand with what I’m talking about
