    My daughter had me put on the live action Lion King, it’s not bad. John Oliver as Zazu is basically just him as a bird but it works tho. Btw, this is totally a CGI movie and Disney needs to stop acting like it isn’t

    This may sound dumb, I was listening to Kamaru Usman (UFC Welterweight champ) on Rogans podcast and he was talking about dealing with fear, anxiety and pressure leading up to a fight and he kept saying he 'makes friends' with those emotions and it just made so much god damn sense and i'm trying to apply it to my job right now as im facing a lot of anxiety and pressure with deadlines and things that need to be done and it makes me feel better. It just makes sense in my head. Idk it prob won't change a fucking thing about my life.

    Resurgence was way more schlocky and didn't take itself as seriously as the first one did. Kind of just leaned into the fact that it's a stupid action blockbuster and two mindless hours of shit blowing up. Also, like I said, it didn't have the problematic 90s-era yikes-inducing stuff in it.
