Happy for Pvris but don't really have the money for a Halsey tour

 

after buying 1975 and Harry styles tickets I’m literally broke forever

 

I hadn’t thought about him in years but it came up when we were talking about bad openers a while ago in here. I saw him once and his lyrics were all a mix of either super sexualized lyrics aimed at preteens or overtly racist, sometimes at the same time. His music and vibe were also just really bad outside of the content. I didn’t see anything big from him recently when I googled the lyrics but I guess I was wrong and he’s still relevant.

 

Yeah it sucks, that show is at Red Rocks and I would loooooooove to see Pvris there but I can't justify spending $100 just for them lol

 

especially when people entirely miss the point of things but I digress

 

Yeah red rocks rules! My sister used to go when she lived in CO and I would love to see a show there, but yeah can't justify that money just to see PVRIS lol.

Now if we got CHVRCHES too then that'd be something else

 

This had me going for a sec...couple of cool acts besides RATM and this isn’t far but noooope

 

that that movie is 2 hours and 30 minutes long is a crime against humanity

that's always been a terrible movie. people's revisionist history of it has always baffled me

I won't sit down and watch Independence Day these days, but it was a massive blockbuster and I loved it as a kid. I named my high school band "Welcome Wagon" for a reason.

 

weird that one got a remake

 

man I would absolutely still put it on if i saw it was on TV lol

 

I will concede the scene where the alien lands and is punched out by big willy then they go to the underground lab is 20 minutes of pure bliss

yeet the rest of that movie tho

 

the sequel was hot garbage and considering the terrible movies will smith AGREES to make, when he wanted no part of that they should have realized how bad it was
