I've managed to get 40lbs off and stayed off for the greater part of three years, but my mom has always struggled with weight loss/dieting. So she asked if I would do this alongside her, and absolutely just wanting to help her, y'know? Added bonus is it should accelerate me into beach body for a trip in July.

Horror is fueled by cult classics as a genre. It's practically part of the fandom, everybody's got their pet films they love. JC is no different. If people want to watch them, I can't tell them they can't because who am I to say that? However, I do feel those fans should take a step back and understand why people are up in arms about JC3 and put that into consideration. If they want to support it after that, then that's their decision to make despite my objections.

 

Oh word, I graduated from Northeastern so I'm very familiar with that whole area. Woody's and Penguin are two of my favorite pizza places in Boston and they're both nearby, on opposite sides of the NU campus. Penguin also has a massive beer selection if you're into that sort of thing. The Squealing Pig is near Penguin as well and has awesome food and drinks.

Near BU, I really like Yard House (great food and huge beer selection) and Sunset Cantina (Mexican food, tons of beer and tequila).

 

i've got a Biomed Ethics and Law class on Tuesday nights from 6:30-9:30. whew gonna probably spend a good bit of time here on these nights

 

Cave In are such a wonderful band.

I'd pick Until Your Heart Stops and go forward, the band's evolution is worth going through.

 

They play a VERY wide array of sounds. This is my favorite album.

I mean yeah, you can't force someone to boycott something or not support it. Everyone has different lines they draw when it comes to supporting others' work or separating the art from the artist but some people pretty much have no standards or whatever and it's like ok you do you while I side eye from the corner.

 

While I agree he did some very shitty things and do not condone his actions at what point do you forgive him for something he did 20 years ago?

The justice system gave him a punishment, he served it, and as far as I could tell from his wikipedia page has since not committed anymore crimes. (I'm totally prepared to be proven wrong here)

 

I honestly could not forgive someone who committed a horrible crime like he did all those years ago. There's a whole argument that can be made about the nature of holding someone to things from their past, it's happened a lot on AP. Salva however can't really be applied to that, this is a man who not only was found guilty and convicted of his crimes but also continued to insert his twisted views into his films like Powder and JC. If anything, he basically was given a free pass by Hollywood after what he did and it's time for it to stop.

 

Living arrangements are stressful. Two of my three roommates are moving out when our lease is up at the end of May. They've been married for a year and are ready to get their own place, so that totally makes sense. The other roommate and I really don't want to move, since we both love our place and the location, but I'm stressing a bunch about finding another person to move in even we have a while to figure it out.
