golden voice is like the biggest promoter in the world

they got drake for a festival I don’t think mcr matters that much

 

They also got Beyonce too which was way bigger than MCR.

 

Plus, these contracts are subject to change. Justin Timberlake and Kanye were set to headline last year, and Kanye pulled out literally the day before the poster came out.

 

the promoters of lolla are just as big and get the same acts. and they have more fests

golden voice only has 7 fest plus whatever local shows they promote. c3 the people behind lolla have 15 and are all across the world

 

how is goldenvoice bigger when they are only in the united states. when c3 is world wide....

the only other goldenvoice fest i know of is hang out

c3 has all the lollas, acl, shakey knees, and voodoo

Instead of arguing about how a band that is already successful, doesn't need the money, and will likely just fill up arenas in California instead, people should spend time listening to the tons of other acts who aren't as big/successful/fortunate but deserve the attention.

None of us are privvy to anyyhing behind the scenes of the festival or with MCR.

all i did was come up with a suggestion/ alternative of them playing this year and playing an after show. no reason to get all over me cuz i think it was shitty and bad business of what they did. i guess having a voice and having an opinion that's different isn't allowed anywhere on this fucking site and everywhere i go people shit all over me. i come here for music news and other stuff but the community is toxic as fuck. im going to bed you all have a good night

People who don't listen to/open themselves up to new music disappoint me. Some of my favorite artists I have discovered and fallen in love with over the past few years have been due to them being on a festival lineup, playing a show in my city, through word of mouth, etc. and I always love finding new artists to listen to.
