i’m not trying to drag him but simmons was always talking about how he didn’t like tatum training with kobe. idk. the positive effect kobe seems to have had on giannis is pretty remarkable, as a teammate, player, and just overall person.

I still can’t believe this. Tragedy for all of the families of those on the helicopter. Just listened to Gary Payton and Spike Lee talk about Kobe and he certainly had an impact on so many people’s lives.

 

Giannis would not be Giannis without Kobe. Kyrie wouldn’t be Kyrie. We wouldn’t get to watch Tatum grow if it wasn’t for Kobe.

All of our current favorite players wouldn’t be our favorites if it wasn’t for someone like Kobe.

same happening to me (and I assume thousands of others). Flooded with random memories - going out and playing after game 7 against the Blazers, vs the Kings and recreating moments or being posed about the refs lol, the shocker of them being bested by Detroit in the Finals, some of the Olympic Games, etc. etc.

I’m almost 32 so this weirdly feels like a family friend that died or something since Kobe has literally been in my life in a way much longer than most of the people I actually know have been in my life.

 

Was cool seeing him and his daughter at UConn games, this is just so sad
