I've been using my cast iron to make the burgers in but I am really bad at judging when they are done. @Ken what do you suggest and also how to get nice browning? Kinda messed them up this week but we recovered. Hannah likes hers medium rare and I like medium.

 

Are you make thin patties or thick ones?

Honestly I prefer thinner patties and wanna try out some smashed burgers but this week we had thick bois so judging the timing was harder. Hannah likes em thicker so

 

I tried replicating the Double Double at home once and it came out pretty good



Didn’t have their same style of bun though so I just used Martin’s lol

I am very picky about burgers because I don't love red meat

So it needs toppings, nude burgers are obscene

 

Yeahhhh it gets old after awhile ahaha but it saves me too much money and time during the week I just gotta deal. The guys here get lunch from the deli every day and it's 1) not even a good deli and 2) at least $10 for a sandwich and they get drinks and chips so they're definitely paying $15+ and I'm like well they must make much better money than I do ahha
