I hear that part of the arm is pretty thin skinned and is pretty painful

 

I feel like I'm explaining it wrong so I will just post a pic of the tattoo I'm talking about lol



edited to delete the 2nd pic that somehow showed up and to add: since I posted it, this is the tattoo I got for my dog Daisy that passed away last year.

 

Oh the OTHER side of the elbow. Interesting place. I bet it hurt when the needles hit the bone.

 

it really, really did haha. Most painful placement I've had thus far. The rest of my spots aren't in painful zones though

 

Next tattoo is for sure gonna be a Smiths one. Just not sure what yet, haha

 

with the news of yellowcard's final tour I want to get a yc tattoo before then. I have always wanted one but never landed on quite what to get. So I need to brainstorm that!

 

There's my Alexisonfire tattoo. This was taken back when it was fresh. Sorry for the mess.

Some of the dots have blurred/faded slightly, but other than that it pretty much does. I'll post a newer picture sometime.

 

Finally got my finger out and am now booked in to get my first sleeve in September. Really looking forward to it.

was really inspired by the backdrop on the recent IIOI tour:

arm was still pretty swollen in this picture lol

 

A bit, my chest piece still cost more though.

And the same artist did the new one as well, will probably be the artist I go to for work to be done 90% of the time as he is very good as compared to some artists in my area and really takes his shit seriously.

yea i was so happy with how it came out. that ep and the band in general is pretty good if you were ever into that whole "emo revival" business...once i save up some more money i'm gonna get a the smiths tattoo and maybe an american football one

 

So this is only a drawing that I had done, but I am getting this done the 6th.



A little background for those who aren't aware of what it is. The hands shaking are from the cover of The Moon and Antarctica and the eye I added Because I wanted to make it special and because of a lyric from a song called 3rd Planet.

"The third planet is sure that they're being watched, by an eye in the sky that can't be stopped. But when you get to the promised land, you're gonna shake that eyes' hand."

The hands will be blue like on the album cover and I am gonna have the eye colored to make it look like there is a galaxy reflecting in the eye. Let me know if you all like it!

 

I love it. Modest Mouse is my favorite band, and The Moon and Antarctica is my favorite album of theirs, haha.

Where are you planning on getting it on your body? And, hypothetically, if I decided I wanted something similar, how opposed would you be to me using this purely as a reference point? Haha
