Blink is fun live but I wouldn't call them good.

They're tremendous fun at times but...in terms of playing music in a musical way, they are so so so so bad.

It used to be a charming bad, the crappy punk rock thing, but nowadays they're stuck in this liminal space where they're a big corporate rock machine that also can't really play, so it's awkward and uncomfortable for everyone. there's was some fresh zest when skeeby came in but it's getting pretty lifeless again. Oh well

Only seen him once, Bamboozle Left back in like 06 I think... just such a letdown. Left early (he was the headliner), as well as many others supremely disappointed in how he sounded.

Dashboard sounded amazing at Taste of Chaos. They easily stole the show.

I’ve seen Dashboard live plenty of times, and they’ve typically been above average.

  10. I was at that show too! That was when he’d gone full band. That was my disappointment, not that they sounded bad. Saw SoCo reunite at that show and discovered the spill canvas, too! Plus 44 and Angels were scheduled for that show on different days and one of them bowed out, right?

My sisters saw Third Eye Blind about ten years ago and said it was by far the worst show they’ve ever seen

  14. I saw DC a couple years and Chris sounded great.
I saw Third Eye Blind a year or two ago and Stephen sounded great.

Every band has bad/good nights so I guess some of us have gotten luckier than others.

My friend and I have an "every other" rule for DC shows; we will see them once and Chris will sound decent. The next time we see them, he's dreadful. We are seeing him two nights in a row in March so... gulp. lol

Yeah bands have off nights - I’ve seen Tegan & Sara three times, twice they were amazing and one time in Cleveland you could just tell their voices were shot that night.

I remember being really disappointed by Catch 22s live show. Saw them at the Summer of Ska Tour back in 2006 and it was just a weak performance when compared to Big D, Suburban Legends and VooDoo Glow Skulls (who are the opposite - studio albums virtually unlistenable, but put on an amazing live show).

Most of the DC online performances recently, I really find his voice hard to listen to. I mean I know it's not the guy's fault but yeah

Maybe Crooked Shadows hurt my ability to get back into DC these days too idk

Bands have off nights. In 2013 I saw Japandroids at Governor's Ball and was blown away. A week later I went to Bonnaroo with a different crew and convinced them to watch Japandroids, and they stunk. My friend's didn't trust my judgement the rest of the weekend haha

I saw them (with DC coincidentally) a few years ago. They didn’t necessarily sound bad, but it was by far the most awkward and uncomfortable performance I’ve ever seen. Stephen gives me major douche chills.

Stephan can be hit or miss on tours. Lately hes been killing it. He's also an ass hat, but great musician.

Maybe im just nitpicky but why does Mark have to say "im feeling this!" The way he does nowadays

That's my only gripe with their set

    not a doctor

That and singing the chorus melody different.

When he says "I'm feeling this" he sounds like some giddy school boy now.
