I dont think we got enough of a listening session in to judge. I went on a spiel about how Britney Spears has a punk ethos so he got to hear that

 

Day after St. patty’s day in 2018 a girl Id been talking to (and missed signals with while drunk the night before) made plans to come over in the evening. I cleaned my apartment, went to get a haircut and fell asleep in the chair so the barber just ended my haircut which is understandable. Girl then comes over that evening and brings me a Gatorade and beer because I was hungover still. We put on rick and morty because I’d never seen it, I thought it was terrible, I started to fall asleep on the love seat which then broke while we were sitting on it. Fooled around a little but I started to fall asleep and we agreed it’d be best if she went home and basically we never talked again.

 

Maybe 7-8 years ago I met up with a girl at her place because she didn’t drink coffee and didn’t want to go to a bar. We sat on opposite sides of her living room watching jeopardy. Then after 2.5 hours I went home. I was Very Online on Twitter and tweeted a joke that the date I just had was the blandest date I’d ever been on. She found that tweet called me an asshole. So I left a six pack of her favorite cider outside her apartment with a note that said I was sorry. Probably the other date that jumps to mind for weirdest I’ve had.

I don’t go on dates either lol but I have a super fun second “date” story but I can’t remember if I already told it here lol
I feel like I would have because how would I not

 

I asked a girl out yesterday and she said “possibly” and I don’t know how to respond

When I first joined the dating apps I was supposed to meet this girl and PF Chang’s for dinner

I got there, I was dressed up and feeling pretty good, had been texting her that day. Pull into the parking lot, text her and say I just got there and was gonna our our names down for the waitlist. I get a text back saying she suddenly isn’t feeling good and can’t make it

Basically I never heard from her again, she ghosted next after I suggested rescheduling


I proceeded to go to the brewery down the road from where I lived and got hammered, bartender gave me three free beers because he felt bad

 

I went on a date once where he sang Date Rape during karaoke. I realize the song is like pointing out how not good date rape is, but it's also kind of a weird choice as a first date song lol

Mine would be the time I met someone at a movie theater after seemingly normal convo for ~2 weeks. Get there, it’s going well...then right before the movie starts she tells me that she went to prison for embezzlement so she could feed her drug addiction. After the movie she wanted me to walk her back to her car. Whatever. Was gonna quickly get her there and bounce. We get to her car that’s in a well lit parking garage and she wanted me to get in the backseat with her and fool around. I politely declined and she said well if you turn me down next time I’m just gonna have to rape you. I said bye and left. Blocked her number on the way to my car.

 

Ok well maybe I already told this but maybe some people never saw it so anyway
I met someone on an app and then we became fb friends. We didn’t rly chat but then one day he messaged me and we chatted a bit and resulted in me inviting him over to smoke a blunt (his blunt lol) and hang out. This was a grave mistake and I’ve learned my lesson and will never do it again honestly
So it went fine in fact I felt rly comfortable around him like I had known him for ages. and then like 2 days later he hit me up to do it again and I was like alright bet so he comes over again and we smoke and watch a movie.

Towards the end of the movie he starts talking so we pause the movie and idek how the subject came up but he just casually was like “yeah I got in a huge fight with my roommate” and I was already like bc this was like RIGHT after my dv relationship so I was like nooo I’m so anti violence
Motherfucker starts laughing and saying “yeah, I guess I just kinda blacked out and he somehow got his finger near my mouth and I just bit down hard and just bit it off”
My jaw is on the floor obviously and he’s like “yeah it’s easier than you think”
And I have NO IDEA WHY my response was “did he get it reattached??” But I’m so glad it was bc his response was UH NO I KINDA ATE IT


And that’s why I don’t trust men

 

My first date with this one guy was us meeting in our community college parking lot and me seeing a dead bird and being so upset I was like we have to bury it and he helped me which was sweet but also wonder what he thought lol

 

Oh and then when I immediately became extremely uncomfortable and feeling unsafe in my home I just go back to the movie to get through the rest of it to have a reason to be like ok leave now bye and not piss him off
And this boy has the nerve to turn to me after the movie and say “so this has been good I’d like to take you on like a real date or better yet just make you my girlfriend, if you want”
I was like UMM HAHA let’s keep getting to know each other like we said!! As friends!!
and he rly got all pouty about me acting weird ever since he told me and I had to be like yeah honestly my last ex was violent w me and my home bc of black outs basically and I just can’t
do that again sry
anyway he stormed out and then messaged me later to apologize and when he tried to be like yeah I just knew you weren’t ready for a relationship I had to be like lmao dude I turned you down lets not get it twisted and he blocked me lmfao
But like honestly thank god

 

So is it a good idea to ask a girl on a Valentine's date as a first date?

Yeah but it gives me and my wife an excuse to do something semi-fancy or fun and also to get good booty that involves lingerie and stuff so, go Valentines Day!
