This actually makes sense structurally. Seth's basically creating his own Inner Circle, and you need a guy who can put on solid matches yet take the pins. Buddy is perfect for that. Otherwise he fades into the abyss after these losses to Black (see: Ricochet after AJ).

RAW's still doing terribly with the womens division, but, its at least building towards some internal logic overall.

 

He just lost 3 matches to the devil himself. Of course he would need CrossFit Jesus

yeah raw was..... Becky with another killer promo but what else is new. I like what they're doing with Almas and Rey. Murphy joining the rollins faction, i like it. I haven't cared about rollins faction at all and this definitely adds something different.

the lana storyline peaked with the wedding, rusev is done but we knew that. Maybe they can use this to build up Liv a bit. Hey it's something for her.

This x10, especially with Asuka doing her thing with Becky. Insane to me that WWE hasn't gone this route, considering how much they love to do tag matches in the build-up to PPV matches

 

David could have had a career even with his father's legacy. not in WWE, but a number of other places. but as long as he's doing it to "honor" his dad, literally no chance

 

In the interview, he says he stopped watching wwe a long time ago and only watches it for Natalya. He's only interested in doing indies and maybe eventually aew.

 

Every now and then, Benoit is brought back up in weird ways where no one is inherently calling for him to be openly acknowledged by WWE and the wrestling community writ large—posts about his entrance music, some of the big matches he had, his children giving interviews—but there is also this weird sense of people really wanting that to happen looming overhead. To which, I think it should be stated quite plainly: He literally killed his wife and his young son.

But yes, lets push for a HOF induction, wrestle under his name, and wear his actual fucking ring gear.

 

I can fully understand that situation being especially tough on his surviving children, but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

 

Yeah, I dont really get this. Like, I understand through the lens where lots of terrible people are already in the HOF, but a good chunk of that is either stuff that happened after their career or wasnt learned publicly until later. With Benoit, its just such a massive part of his public story that there is no way to paper over it.

It also doesnt sound like he's training that seriously; he didnt complete Storm's training, he's working oil rigs and not really training now...the parts I heard sound like he's living in a fantasy world where if he floats the idea it'll magically happen and he'll appear at Double or Nothing II as Chris Benoit, Jr. magically.

Stoked for Murphy being part of Rollins and AOPs little stable. Big powerhouse tag team, an up and coming mid carder and heel Seth is a great team and I’m actually kinda intrigued at where they go with this.

 

Is the Rollins thing kind of just a "join the dark order" thing?

Corbins group is the most obvious example “let’s just bunch a load of heels together” since the League of Nations.
