Holy shit, NF is on the chorus list?? That's embarrasing

 

i dont trust ANYONE who doesnt have a hiphop or RnB album in their top 10, let alone like top 50

There are a lot of great very popular and critically acclaimed options that would be fine.

There wasn’t that one huge hip hop album that was collectively championed by the non-hip hop, indie rock leaning music press this year so people obviously didn’t know which album to include

 

They’re the silent majority. The people who get their music recommendations from the top 40. And then buy the CD from their local supermarket.

 

Go into Eminem threads for fun, so many people there I have never seen here.

I’m not a fan myself, but Igor got A LOT of plaudits. Very surprised it didn’t make onto the final list on here.

I honestly trust them more than those that have like a top 50 with one Kendrick and one Rihanna album or equivalents in them every year. Like come on we all see through you lol

NF is so corny that he even made me defend Eminem when someone on this board said NF is like early Eminem. Slim Shady doesn’t deserve THAT.

I don’t even care if a hip hop fan happens to like NF (unless I missed something horrendous), but when he’s the only rapper on a website’s list it sure raises my eyebrows lol more so than when there is just that one “critically acclaimed” rap album, although that’s corny too

I was listening to the radio in a friends car the other day. A song came on that sounded eerily like Eminem. Assumed it was him. Shazam’d it. Was NF. He’s as transparent as you’d expect a white christian Eminem fan to be.

 

I was going to say earlier that the only reason NF is on there is because Eminem didn’t put a record out this year so glad y’all have basically covered that lmao
