I honestly don’t know wtf to do about the fact that so many people have such a hard on for the military it makes me want to vomit

As a kid I used to go to America a LOT and I always dreamt of living there. Had an American ex while I was in uni and thought oh shit this is one step closer...and then one day I kinda just started actually reading the news and like...nah I guess?

The main thing I can’t wrap my head around is healthcare lol. As someone who almost died from pneumonia and didn’t pay a penny for hospital treatment (because why the fuck should I be in debt for something I had no control over) I really can’t fathom having to pay for healthcare the way Americans do.
