Someone has to be a pretty outright unpleasant person for me to 3 star or lower them. I understand times are hard for a lot of people so I try not to take it too personally but I also look at lyft as I do any service industry job. They prob wouldn’t stiff their waitress so I wish they’d apply that to drivers too.

I’ve kind of reached the no fucks given point with it though. The other day I was picking up someone in an apartment complex and trying to get to the building they pinned and they sent me a text that said “dude stop moving” so I just cancelled the ride and drove off. Or if I think the rider is underage I won’t let them in my car and collect an easy $5 cancel fee lol. Same fee for people that take longer than 5 minutes once I arrive, as soon as the timer is done I mark them as a no show and drive away.

First time I saw the band name Boys Like Girls I assumed it was some homophobic Christian band

pretty sure I tipped my uber driver the morning after he drove me and my friend to our hotel in a blackout

 

I’ve only ever talked to Uber or Lyft drivers when they’ve addressed me and always tried to just be quiet and amiable

never had an issue

 

also out of curiosity let's say it's a $10 ride and I tip $2 how much money do you actually get , the answer will bum me out but I need to know

should add that if the passengers rate is hiked during peak hours, I still see the same amount while you get charged more and lyft makes more! fun!

Oh I am notoriously bad amongst my irl friends because I’d much rather just stay in my house than go anywhere. In college a bunch of us made plans to go to Universal Studios and the day before we went I sent out a mass text saying I wasn’t going and that I’d refund them the money I owed. Idk why I’m like this but I am. Next morning I wake up to 20 people outside my dorm telling me to get ready because they know how bad I am about cancelling and being a shut in but I also have a hard time saying “no”.
