I’m having the opposite issue where I can’t stop sleeping for like 11 hours ever since I got back and I’m quite nervous for when I go back to work considering I slept through 3 alarms and 2 phone calls

 

usually shows. Like one I return to often is Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural / True Crime (they do a seasons of each). I've watched them enough while trying to fall asleep that my brain associates watching it with getting ready to sleep.

Yeah, you're not far off, tbh. It's useful alongside sleeping pills. I'm very much a person driven by habits, so I have a good bedtime routine. I usually watch and then after a video or two start to close my eyes and relax and shut off my brain.

 

Download an app called Atmosphere. It’s excellent for sleeping to. Has pages and pages of background noise you can combine. Waves, rain, campfires crackling, distant sirens and passing cars in a city, thunder, all sorts! Can set it on a timer and put any 6 on at once, and set the volume of each different sound individually.
