I’ve accepted that every time I try to be serious on here it’s just radio silence or jokey responses. It’s my own fault but idk sometimes I feel like if I ever actually needed to like get something off my chest or talk to someone i wouldn’t be taken seriously. Which again, my own fault, but if my cringe ass makes someone laugh or feel slightly better about themselves then hey it was a good day I guess

 

Nothing wrong with mead in a bottle! I’ve found that a lot of non beer drinkers can get into that more easily. Richmond has an absolutely top tier meadery and they just started selling some in cans, and it’s been one of my new go tos. Especially a tangerine one, mmmmm. Was perfect for the summer.

It was also great at DragonCon this year when they had mead on tap for the same price as the beer and it was super delicious and high ABV instead of the trash they were serving.

 

I do think people who pick up subtle hints in beer are making it up but that's universal with any subtle hint

 

Or people telling you TWY suck or something

 

admittedly i did laugh at bacon bits mead.

Huuuuge sci fi convention in Atlanta. It’s the only one I go to every year. They cover truly anything you can imagine under the nerd umbrella, but I’m mostly there for the comics and pop art section that I volunteer in (despite not reading comics...), the entertainment panels, concerts, and just hanging out with friends that I only see once a year. It’s just a super open and free week that’s perfect for people watching and being around other likeminded nerds. There’s also a craft beer group that has a big share and it’s a blast.
