I think i definitely need to see this again. Was it implied or revealed early on (and i just missed it) that Arno is his family? I was mostly confused by that reveal, idk if it was meant to he more dramatic.

There was definitely (not that I recall) no inclination that Arno was his family member before it was revealed at the dinner. Pretty sure the reveal was implied to be a twist.

It was for sure a twist but i was definitely sitting there wondering if there was something i missed because it wasnt like, a dramatic reveal, you just see him at the table lol

Yeah, it honestly didn't do much for me. If anything, it is maybe done to comfort the viewer...now that you know they are family, you think 'no way this guy will kill his own family member' but then his guys end up killing them both, obviously.

also read today that the guy who plays Phil (Keith Williams Richards), this was his first acting gig ever. Was surprised because he seemed like he nailed the tough guy role so well, probably will see him in other movies/shows in the same role more often haha

Gambling on sports is fine. The key is to not have an addictive personality, know your limits, and don’t lock a loan shark and his goons in a small doorway for hours after stiffing them on their payments for weeks.

My strict Christian upbringing always has me notice profanity, even though it doesn't necessarily bug me.

I really don't notice curse words in things I watch until I start noticing myself cursing a lot more afterwards lol, it always happens. For example I say "goddamn" about 10x more after I watch Always Sunny

The whole time I was thinking to myself thank god I don't care about basketball generally or the Celtics specifically because I had no idea how that game actually went in real life. If you knew how the game really went down there would be like no tension whatsoever for the entire last half hour of the film lol

You'd have to be clinically insane to place a bet for a 150,000+ that included the result of the tip-off. I could understand doing an individual prop bet on the tip-off, but to include it in the parlay of Garnett's total Points/Rebounds plus the Celtics is insane to me, considering if they lose the tip, you're done immediately.

Didn't the Celtics have to be winning at half time too?

Edit: Oh I think that was his first bet, which was more insane than the 2nd one but just for less money
