I'm so jealous you got to see Digable Planets, Blowout Comb is one of the best albums I've ever heard, would love to see them so much.

Not sure if this is the most fitting thread, but my hip hop/jazz band released our first song, its a long spoken word about the Orlando tragedy. No drums and a lot of horns. Our other songs aren't going to be this somber but this I think this message was so important so we pushed it out quicker.

apparently durk has a new album out today? did this even get announced? it has "my beyonce" on it but the attention for this seems almost nonexistent compared to remember my name

Was supposed to be out in June originally but got pushed to July last minute.

Surprised that people don't like Yachty. I haven't listened to him really, but he's apparently super popular around here. His show sold out within minutes and he was just here a month and a half ago.

 

He's got a top 40 hit with DRAM now too which is wild

 

yeah, honestly not sure why people seem to hate yachty so much. all of his projects are pretty enjoyable imo.
