when the information is out there it stops being speculation and it starts being a waste of everybody's time to spout your uneducated guesses.

it's a bog standard every time i die song, and a very good one at that, and it has been since may.

(I realize this post comes off as a little mad sounding so I just wanted to add that we cool. we cool. lol)

Man that stretch from just before the 1-minute mark to about 1:20 is killer.

This album has definitely rocketed to my most anticipated after these two tracks.

I mean I haven't even heard the live version and I'm not all that familiar with ETID's catalogue so I can't say how different it sounded but from you saying there's a part where he almost raps it didn't sound that ridiculous to me. I thought I heard someone say something about it having electronics in it too which would fit with the title but I couldn't hear any in the actual song, I wish it were a little bit more unique though, I've only heard two ETID albums and this already does feel like a bog standard ETID song to me which is kind of boring.

I suppose i'm just not a fan of "album speculating" I just like to hear the new music and discuss afterwards.

Who cares if someone says it'll be like another song or not, that's such a silly thing to get mad over.

to be fair it still sounds rap-y to me but it really fits the song haha

there's still plenty of other songs for them to be weird.

That's fine I just don't think there's any problem with other people speculating. Some really enjoy imagining what albums are going to sound like or what bands are going to do and it's fun talking about it online. If you don't like something just ignore it.

i don't think anyone is mad, but when the song is out there that's as stupid as, I don't know, denying climate change.

Absolutely, I'm not writing the album off or anything, haha.

This thread got strangely hostile for a minute there... not a fan of that.

This song rips though, unsurprisingly. The single guitar before the final breakdown gave me chills.

honestly, I'll have to say that I don't necessarily feel the need to listen to Glitches as much as The Coin Has A Say hooked me. Maybe it is a bit too standard after all.

I do like The Coin Has a Say more but this is still great. I especially like the second half of it.

Yeah they seem to have a go-to formula for releasing albums/singles that has been going on for a while. That's only because this band is so god damn consistent. Respect them and love them so much for that.

I feel like most bands drop 3 songs before the album, one every month before the album drops after the announcement.

    Thrice had
blood on the sand -> black honey -> death from above -> album

    Letlive. had
Good Mourning, America, -> Relucantly Dead -> Another Offensive Song -> album

    etc. etc.

So what do you guys think the next ETID single is going to be? They've been playing Petals and It Remembers live so my money is on either of those.

Isn't It Remembers the one with Brendon Urie? I wouldn't be surprised if they drop that one to potentially stir up some more hype because of the big name guest vocalist.

  18. I don't see them releasing the song with Urie. They haven't done that in the past with guest vocalists.

If he's on the chorus they should absolutely do that.

Kill The Music was the lead single for GP which prominently features Gerard Way ;)

(though, ironically, Keith sings on the actual single version lol)

I really prefer the production/mixing on these new tracks to that on From Parts Unknown.

I'm the opposite. I like the new songs, but I think the production takes a step back.
