A grand portion of things we’ve known for the last few months are true.

Reylo fans should be partially happy as that seems to be one the few things JJ wanted to get right

 

That’s honestly in the conversation for the worst thing in the leaks, lol. When I saw that, I was like, “no... really?”

 

I really love her introduction scene and her zapping Finn repeatedly; don’t love how she was written after that but still think she has potential and it’s not Kelly’s fault.

 

"over correction" of the TLJ could mean a million things. Taking plot points that Rian laid out and then just changing them would be bad. But if it's something like JJ wanting the three to be together more (which I think the said in interviews) then that's minor and could be considered an over correction.

But with all the leaks out I'm sure some of you know.

 

Oh, totally. It’s 100% fan service. Maybe I should have said it’s one of the few things that JJ actually made consistent instead of “right” as it feels like it was maybe 1 of 2 or 3 things he set out to accomplish with this film.

 

Really hope they aren't dumb enough to do this. Insane to think people would allow that to happen but..

 

my favorite spoilers are these ones lol

- Rose and Rey didn't speak to each other.
- Kylo and Chewie also have no scenes together.

 

from the reactions i'm reading, it seems most of the tweets are one extreme side of the spectrum. either theyre pure joy and elation or theyre criticism and disappointment. i am sure both sides are slightly if not overly exaggerating their feelings, but i wonder which side is closer to what the film really is.

I just read a bunch of spoilers and...huh.

 

I need this movie to not disappoint if for nothing more than the fact that I picked up this questionably sweet spirit jersey from Disneyland this weekend, and I need to feel justified in buying it. I feel a little ridiculous wearing it, but it's so damn comfortable and trendy.

I'm realizing that I have the next week off. I didn't plan on seeing this, but I'm going to be so fucking bored. Good thing for matinees.

 

I think I’m gonna skip this and have TLJ be my finale to the saga

You won’t watch it to see if the film looks better than it sounds?

 

You'd have a satisfying ending for Luke but i'd hate to end it like that for everyone else

 

i love these movies but god damn it has inspired the most insufferable fanbase in the world lol

 

I still have faith that it'll be good, if not we still have TFA and TLJ.

 

Honestly, I am ridiculously excited to see this movie while also fully expecting that it's gonna be a really fun movie full of awesome sequences but not nearly as good as the film that came before it.

You know, exactly like the original trilogy.

 

Man, these first impressions somehow have me even more excited. I have literally no idea what to expect.

 

Sounds like this is just as divisive as TLJ.
