Yea I was wondering if I just didn’t remember something christmas-y from that movie, I don’t even understand his thought process really

 

I get his thought process. Harry Potter movies make me think of Christmas because I’d watch them a lot on TV around Christmas back in college.

 

I kind of get it. But for the guy who knitpicks everything, it's a wild choice.

 

Harry Potter at least has a Christmas scene haha

 

Yeah big things always tended to happen around Christmas time in the HP stories so those would make more sense then LOTR lol

 

he makes a point to log on every day and fire it off. you have to respect it.

 

the doughboys and allison are both funny enough and, i cannot overstate how much i truly love the pod, but i disagree with pretty much any take i've ever heard from them about music, movies, or tv lol. truly awful opinions.

I am interested in Wiger's ep of Watching Watchmen, but not interested enough to throw $5 at it

 

Still haven't seen any evidence that Jack is funny and can't understand why people tolerate him online or in real life.

 

He is almost always right about politics and calling people on their bullshit. He is a good guest on the show

 

He owned Michael Che, that was cool

 

His real talent is drawing people with bigger audiences than him into ridiculous arguments

 

Che, Moviebob, Mazin (argument was somewhat less ridiculous because it had real world consequences), the Hoarse Whisperer, etc. It's impressive. Also it's hilarious that he was calling Mazin "the hangover guy" to insult him during the negotiation, but then he had to praise the director of those films in order to be contrarian about Joker

 

it shouldn't be ignored he has one of the more unlistenable voices of anyone in the doughboys universe. dude has a voice meant to be read and not heard.

I watch jack am every morning. I can't miss it. I've been fired from 3 jobs

 

I can’t even imagine how miserable of a life it would be to spend all of my time trying to fight with people on Twitter. Like call shit out when you see it but to just immerse yourself in mundane shit slinging 24/7 is baffling to me.

 

I love the guy, but Mitch has some truly bad movie opinions, specifically Star Wars. I blame Bug Mane for poisoning his mind about the prequels being good lol

 

I mean no Star Wars is good

Mitch has mostly fine takes on film but he had Green Book in his top 5 or 10 last year lol
