OMG, that is so fucking ridiculous. Give her lots of hugs, I just can't even imagine going through that. I've been under the knuckle of parents before, so I understand to a degree, but even mine weren't that draconian.

Maybe she could use that to her advantage? Threaten the family she'll go to the school. Her siblings should recognize they'll need to side with her to convince them to relent. If not, fuck her siblings, too. Anyone not on her side can just straight fuck off.
