The RE2 remake is hands down one of the best in the entire series, I say this as a long time fan

 

Excited for RE3 but I am curious as to how they’re gonna handle Nemesis.

 

Rewatching the trailer, I saw they revealed the Hunter model. The thing looks even more terrifying.

oh shit, i didn't know they re-made the original Resident Evil in 2015 as a download only version. gonna have to pick that up (and RE2) before getting RE3.

 

Nah, it’s an HD port of the GameCube remake. They also got a disc version with RE0 too.

 

ah, that's kind of a bummer but not much. the GameCube remake was my first real experience with RE. i remember vaguely playing it on PlayStation but was too young to really know what the hell i was doing. i remember the GC one being tough as shit and don't think i got very far lol so i'm definitely gonna get this when time allows (starting Fallout 4 tonight, so... in about 3 months i'll be ready to play something else)

i also just clicked through IGN's review of every RE game and good lord did the original, RE2 and Code Veronica get remade / ported A LOT over the years. holy shit.

 

The crimson heads are straight terrifying in REmake, probably one of my favorite enemies in the series.

Level design on Fallen Order is tight and then theres some baffling stupid decisions like having a rope hanging off the side of a cliff that you can't grab on to.
