I started Outer Worlds Friday night and oooh boy do I suck at video games (first game besides RE4 that I’ve played since Fallout 3 to give you a timeline of the last time I picked up a controller). Haven’t even made it to Adelaide yet and I’ve died about 25 times from the marauder groups. I knew I’d be rusty but didn’t know I’d be this bad lol

Have fun, it's really fucking hard haha. I am super into it right now, finally just got off the island you start off on, it was NOT easy, but very rewarding.

Dude, it's a no-brainer. Cait just knows we aren't technically supposed to have more than 2 pets at our condo so she freaks out that we even have 3 haha. I'll be happy at 50 living alone with 10 cats and playing my crusty old nintendo switch and still talking to you geeks online.

Forgot how much Divinity ruled, I’m only gonna play story mode for now though bc I suck at games

 

Damn son I thought I was playing on story mode this whole time but i've been playing on explorer mode! Go me! JFG JFG JFG

 

Outer Worlds was reminding me so much of Fallout that I decided to pickup the GOTY edition of Fallout 4 and enter the wasteland for the first time in many, many years.

FO3 is probably my favorite game ever (or second fav) and I remember picking up the GOTY edition of that and instantly finding it challenging as shit as I got ripped apart by the giant horrifyingly fast claw creatures and the giant mutants with massive guns and all I had was a pistol. Didn’t realize until about 30 hours in that all those major enemies were around right away because it was the GOTY version so I gotta remember that for this time with 4 lol

 

I’m here for a good time, not a long ass time


But this game will be one good long ass time

 

The Point Lookout DLC on Fallout 3 was better than anything else in the whole game. Loved it. I have the GOTY of 4 and might go back just to explore at some point, but I’ll be avoiding the garbage story like the plague.

And I don’t even feel sad for people who paid money for 76 - ya got what ya asked for. Can not believe what a travesty that game was. And not just the actual game, but literally everything surrounding it. PR, the merchandise, all of it. Then again...I can...it’s Bethesda.

 

The best ability on Divinity is the one where you talk to animals and I unlock it every time I play

 

Unlocked it right away lol, but all the animals are so sad, all their parents die and shit.
