like I told Dustin, they're all essential in order to grasp the full story but you will need patience to power through season 2 as that's when Lynch left (and maybe Frost too, I can't remember) and it went to shit. then The Return rights all the wrongs of that season imo. I also think season 1 and The Return are two of the very best seasons of any tv show ever

Twin Peaks also probably has the best TV show soundtrack of all time
