  1. The song comes out tonight, I believe, so I'm not expecting them to openly talk about it or promote it much between now and then. Travis making a quick post about the song on his personal account really sums up who's actually responsible for the whole collab, I think.

I expect them to be pretty quiet about it in general because they know they'll receive backlash, and later when an interviewer asks them about it, Mark will say something like "Travis wanted us to do this collab to pay respect to his friend who passed away" or something like that. And then I don't think we'll ever hear anything else about the song, honestly. That's just my prediction, but who knows. We'll see what happens.

If they knew there would be backlash why the hell do it in the first place? If you're going to do something like this at least own up to it and be out there to take your public beatings.

Guess Mark cares more about popularity than integrity, not a good look.

  4. In 5 years mark will look back at this era and realize he made some mistakes and will feel a sense of ... integrity blues.

I also don't know why we're pinning this all on Travis. He's done solo features on artists' songs all the time. This is a blink 182 feature, each one of them can shoulder the blame. Mark is just as guilty as Travis.

Mark just did an interview with Rolling Stone and the question was what his hopes were for the 2020s and his answer was, and I quote, 'We move past the era of daily outrage and cancel culture'

So yeah, as I've said about him for a while now, he (and they) doesn't give a fuck.

I was hoping 2020 was the year artists would stop profiting, working with, and supporting absolute trash people and care more about victims of sexual and physical abuse and stop putting a label on that as "cancel culture" and "daily outrage."

Actually hadn't seen that Rolling Stone interview yet. My disappointment with Mark continues to grow.

I think it just rings hollow and hypocritical after they announce a collab with XXX.

Just wondering how many people have deleted their Blink music library since official news of the appearance on the Xxx album was announced?

Can we cancel the phrase "cancel culture"? It's just shorthand for "I'm uncomfortable with the collective power consumers have now that they're able to communicate with each other."

I think people have collectively expressed their disappointment, but its to varying degrees.

I am curious what other people’s course of action is. I already said that I am avoiding listening to that track. Other people seem to feel that’s not enough, so I am genuinely asking.

I've decided to reply to every Insta photo or tweet Mark or Blink send out with the following comment -

"Hey Mark. Why has Blink decided to do a song with a guy convicted of homophobic attacks and of beating women? Why do Blink choose to endorse this behaviour? What message does this send to your younger fans?"

I've already been called a "beta cuck" so that's fun.

  22. Haha what the hell is a "beta cuck"???
