depends on you really, for some it's GOTG tier, for others it's "what the fuck is this shit" tier

I'm squarely in the former camp, I think it's the best darn thing since BOTW or Bloodborne.

 

Ill forever be sour about reach because I hate spammy character abilities in competitive multiplayer

 

didn't they largely patch that out over the course of its life?

armor lock + shotgun in the beta was just so dum lol

Agree with @mescalineeyes , I've thought it was a great game that requires a lot of thinking. Visually it looks great but it isn't until you get to Chapter 3 that I truly got that hit where it was just in the camps for a best PS4 game for me. Chapter 3 is when you start really building, getting equipment and the story moves forward. The traversal aspect is amazing and it's actually quite obsessive just doing deliveries. Always end up saying "one more" then end up 5 hours later doing another one.

 

I adored the first 2 chapters too

 

Bioshock really fuckin rules still

 

Don't get me wrong, first 2 were great but I felt it really excelled when it opened up after Chapter 2 and into 3.

Sure the gameplay can feel janky af but everything else is just too good

 

The only thing janky rn is that the BioShock collection is back home in the UK and I have to wait 2 weeks to play it

 

I haven’t even touched Two or Infinite but I remember loving the first one just as much as I am now
