I use Spotify because my cable provider pays for it, but I had a few months of Tidal here and there and I think that the design is better and the curated playlists are better. Also, it’s better for artists.

You can currently get 4 months for like 1$.

I don’t know if that is their call. I don’t know who owns those albums. A lot of labels were involved there. I do know both artists involved weren’t very happy with them.

Revisting some Jay-Z tracks I wonder what the ultimate Black Album experience is. Like are any of the remixes from the grey, white, brown, pete rock albums better than the originals. Hard to say.

 

I think The Black Album is close to being a perfect album

 

It’s definitely one of his best albums.

 

It's far and away my favorite Jay Z album.

 

Mine is The Blueprint, because to me personally the highs are higher, but The Black Album is a good choice
