I remember it used to be named as a joke about SXSW, that's what I remember most about it.

 

What a life. I've used every platform he's ever touched. Two before I even knew his name. He deserves whichever car he desires.

 

Yeah this was the first year they took off the "South By", I think. Legal action, I guess.

 

They had an agreement with SXSW before to use the "South By", took it off because of expansion (which I think will be next year I don't remember)

 

Ah.

I hate Third String so much nowadays.

 

Speaking of fests, I guess Loufest isn't going to be a thing this year. Especially since they've said absolutely nothing about a lineup or anything, just the dates. Just the dates, while all the festivals around them are announcing their lineups. Kewl.

 

I'm not a fan of most of what they do but still respect em, for obvious reasons

 

I liked them a lot in like 2007, when they were going a lit of good for local bands. What they're doing now is forming a monopoly on touring acts coming through here

 

I took a nap today by accident and now I'm going to be awake all night.

 

Haven't been to a festival in my life. Lived in Brazil for 5 years and I didn't live in one of the few festival geared cities so it was never an option for me. I might have to catch one in the future now that I'm in MA just to experience one.

 

I think this will be the year I go to Riot Fest, missed out last year due to funds and I'm still bummed about it.

 

Riot Fest is dope, I think I'm skipping this year unfortunately due to money but the past three years have been a ton of fun.

 

Fun Fun Fun Fest has been my favorite festival experience so far out of the few I've been to. I enjoy it so much more than Austin City Limits.

 

Texas gets the best fests.

 

If I nap before 3 I'm usually ok, if it's after 3pm I'm just wrecked for like 48 hours. Same rule for caffeine.

I wasn't like dead set on doing up the Underoath tour when it got announced and just didn't really want to think about it cus it was announced like six months in advance and don't feel like thinking about stuff that far in the future. I figured there would be a decent chance I'd decide to go at some point. Finally got the itch today and my date's sold out (not surprising, and it's only a couple weeks away). Not devastated but a little bummed. Gonna hope for stubhub prices to drop day of show and if not, oh well. Got to see the farewell tour, and Father is in town that same night so at least I have a good backup.

 

How did Monday become the best day on television? Potentially my three favorite shows airing at the moment all on

 

I'm so pumped for the Underoath show. They don't usually come to mind when I think of my favorite bands, but Define the Great Line is one of my favorite albums and that album/the band basically got me into heavy music. Special place in my heart for sure. And I love everything they put into their shows, with the visuals and everything.

 

What shows? Still Sunday nights for me, though it was Wednesday for a bit.

 

I have no problem putting it in the number one slot! summitpost.org always has cool pictures/info.
If you're interested, watch this. It think the actual film is 42 minutes or something like that, but the trailer is the best you'll see online right now. It's incredible.
