I had a similarly frustrating experience when moving into our apartment a few years back and I was torn bc I wanted to raise hell but also still wanted the apartment so i definitely succumbed to their bullshit. now they wanna jack my rent up like $140 more a month beginning in april and im gonna have to have a phone call sometime soon.

 

And I had already gotten 2! It wasn't like I had no money orders I had $1005 in money orders for them.

I feel bad for the dude I yelled at cuz I know for a fact he tried to go under the table with me and put the $2 on my online pay once I'm moved in or whatever, and while he was his boss called him into her office and he came out and said he couldn't do it

 

Yeah exactly like I didn't mind getting the money order by end of day and offered to do it but they refused

 

It sucks that those things get so strewn up in red tape and shit when it’s like....yo this is TWO DOLLARS can we look at the big picture here?!

 

I feel bad for yelling at the low level people too, especially when they are trying to help but it's out of their hands. It sucks because the lowest paid employees usually have to take the most shit, but it is kind of part of the job I guess.

 

Now that everything's settled I go out of my way to always talk to that guy when I go to the office for packages or whatever and I'm always super nice to him cuz I feel like I owe it to him haha

yeah but there's a difference, 90% of the time i want pizza ill get 'real pizza', but when you want/crave something like pizza hut or dominoes, regular/real pizza doesnt cut it. it's a different experience entirely.
