Yea that one definitely felt a little off. Too cheesy at times. Still enjoyed it.

I loved that Cara Dune beat up Mando, exactly what I hoped would happen just to piss off the "female power fantasy" crowd and sure enough, I go on Reddit, and there's people up in arms over it. Love it.

did she beat him, though? It ended with both them holding a blaster at each other’s face?

I mean, Mando has gotten his ass kicked a lot in just 4 episodes. I like that he isn’t some unstoppable superhuman. He has gotten help yet still been a bad ass in his own right.

She face-planted him onto the dirt and had the upper hand most of the fight, I'ma give it to her. If I was an MMA Judge I'd judge in favor of Cara Dune. Then again, I know nothing about MMA. And TBH as long as she does well enough to make the dudebros angry it's a-okay with me.

Seems the only thing stronger than beskar in the Star Wars galaxy are Cara Dune's fists. Fucking love her already.

WTH. Why would anyone care what dudebros think about Star Wars to the point of trying to find what they say. The fight also looked even to me the entire time.

Another fun good episode. Reminds me of the couple Clone War episodes where they teach the farmers to defend themselves and the Onderon arc.

    Loved
-how they used the ATST and how that scene was shot.
-Cara and hope this isn’t her only appearance.
    -the design of the raiders
-thought this was the funniest episode so far and baby yoda somehow was cuter than usual

I’ll agree it’s probably my least favorite and not everything worked but I’m digging these serial adventures and not everything having huge/shocking impacts. I’m okay with the overall narrative taking its time. With the pace it’s going I’m guessing this Baby Yoda storyline will carry over into season 2 as well.

Alright dude. I was looking at discussion on Reddit I wasn't going looking for anything but discussion. You can judge the fight as you like, I'm not interested in arguing with you.

This episode was fine. I feel though Mando always ends up getting out of his binds, and would like an ep soon with him having things not end up in his favor.

Also he fucked up cuz that widow was cute af

this was fine, enough enjoyable moments to not consider it a bad episode. Loved the ATST and really enjoyed the very brief mention of Endor. Assuming Cara Dune is back in either the next or future episodes. I don’t think I ultimately really care whether or not we see his face but i really thought we would in this one hah.

  15. This episode felt a lot like Doctor Who to me, in both its structure and its silliness, but that’s not a bad thing at all.

I thought the episode felt a lot like Ep VI ROTJ.

Yeah this was the weakest of the four so far, but was still entertaining to watch. Wonder where Mando goes next

Episode was good, I enjoyed it. One thing I really appreciate about the show is that it shows various elements of the universe not shown in the movies, so it was really cool to see the krill farm. This episode definitely had a Seven Samurai vibe to it, albeit with just two people showing the villagers to fight. Howard did a good job directing and I hope she keeps going at it, who knows if she'll ever make to the level of her father but she has potential. Can't wait to see where the show goes next week!

You can definitely tell the difference in BDH directed this episode in a good way just based on the camera choices made in this episode that differ from the first 3.

Weakest so far but still very good.

Really interesting that all these characters seem to be one-offs. I was really expecting Nick Nolte, IG-11, and Cara Dune to become his crew.

Honestly, I think it works better with him being alone than having a crew, fits his character much more.

I can also see this inching towards him realizing he doesn’t need to be a loner and it develops into a crew of sorts, which would also be a good reason for him to leave the mask off.

Live action Loth Cat!! I’ll let it slide even though it scared baby yoda.

Definitely gave me Clone Wars vibes training up the farmers to be fighters. Felt a tad like a retread but I’ll let it slide.

Cara Dune was great. I really hope to see her again soon.

So we are 100% confirmed: Mando was not born a Mandalorian, rather was adopted to the culture. You can hear/see that he respects them so much and really wants to belong. Makes lines like “I’m a Mandalorian, it’s my religion” when the Jawas wanted him to hand over his guns really all the more powerful. Does he mean this, yea maybe? But even more so, I feel like he’s still that little kid and he’s desperate to belong and BE a Mandalorian. He’s searching for his identity and it’s powerful as fuck.

This show is great, loving it so much.
