Microsoft paid for almost all of the development of titanfall 1.

 

Reckon the devs would’ve approached them regarding the second though if they were interested in the same kind of dealio. But then again it didn’t sell that well did it? Presume it wasn’t ever on the table.

 

It didn’t sell well cuz it came out the same time as a cod and battlefield. It’s awesome more people should have got it when it released

 

no that was titanfall 2, Titanfall 1 sold *reasonably* well only hampered by, well, the xbox one lol

thinking about getting one for my son on Friday for Christmas

He’d never want to dock it + the smaller the better for him but just curious if anyone ended up getting one and liked it

 

Got one, rarely use it because I'm an idiot but I love how it feels in my hand and think it's a great handheld

Honestly the second anybody mentions streaming I tune out. Maybe in like many, many decades (never) when nigh on everybody in the western world has decent internet capable of quality streaming experiences I’ll show an interest. I know it’s the ‘future’ with all the x-cloud crap but I just don’t see it being viable for me personally, and colossal failures like Stadia reinforce that mindset.

 

I don't care how good it is, I don't fuck with compression. I *love* 4k and refuse to compromise on image quality and will spend the premium to have the crisp native experience.
