I've always preferred The Cool but they're both amazing records. Everybody needs to listen to Tetsuo & Youth and especially Drogas Wave if you're not up to date with Lupe by the way, he's easily matching and maybe even exceeding his early work after a bumpy mid-career

 

I know everyone thinks he works best over Party Supplies beats, but for me, he's magic on an Alchemist beat. Then again, anyone can sound good on an Alchemist beat.

Rare Chandeliers is one of Actions best and this is great too.

 

My favorite Bronson project is the album with Statik Selektah

Yeah that was the main reason I posted it. Not bc it’s a great list, but bc I discovered so much from it I’d never heard.

I really like the jazzy stuff so I really enjoyed the AntiLilly & Phoniks album and the Awon album. Also really enjoyed the album by SOL Development. I still have a lot of them to checkout though.

The L’Orange & Jeremiah Jae album is great. So are both the Billy Woods albums.

That site has its problems, but it can certainly help people discover new stuff, it’s coverage of certain types of rap is pretty comprehensive

 

Totally forgot about that Skepta album. Had some bangers on it too.

 

I still really like long.live.asap. I’m going through a lot of those earlier 2010 albums.
