So far my gray flags are: I can be kinda intense in an unhealthy way with weight and nutrition things so depending on how they talk about it can be kinda triggery. of course if it's a healthy passion it's fine, but I'd wanna sus it out. Then he's the one who likes anime which is totally fine but I'm skeptical cause he also visits Reddit regularly. the lack of punctuation is whatever honestly. Sometimes I do that too when I do voice texting which I know he was also using earlier and idk if he still is now. But like. First time when I felt like the vegetarian comment was condescending I gave it a pass cause maybe I was reading the vibe wrong. So I never said anything to him about it. This is the second time I've felt patronized over something silly (and also food related???) So I will say something. I'm nice and guys are dumb so I'll draw it to his attention but either he cuts it out or byyyyye. As a semi related sidenote, calling all other women who date men, how do you even like draw the line? Cause real talk men are dumb af and privileged and even the most woke of them do it without realizing it. Feel like if I'm gonna attempt this dating thing, I'll have to try and figure out how much dumbness I can take and discern what's legit ignorant dumb or like.... Newborn baby lamb needs to be made aware dumb.

 

My friends and I talk about this a lot. Two of my best friends (girls) are getting married to each other and I find myself insanely jealous of their relationship so often because they don’t put up with the dumb, exhausting, male privilege. I think the key is if they are willing to learn and listen to your experiences as a woman. If they’re dismissive of your experiences as a woman, or try to say “ oh that didn’t happen” when you describe an experience, they’re trash. There’s definitely guys out there who are fairly progressive anymore and open to listening to our experiences as women. I’ve found guys who accept their male privilege and where it’s gotten them in life are the easiest to date.
