I never drink milk

 

I'm now thinking about fall/winter and how all I want is some of that Abuelita Mexican hot chocolate. It's the best.

 

I had it at a food truck once and it's like they added more cinnamon instead of milk. Way too strong for my liking.

See, I'm thinking way too much about milk now. But I used to really like milk. Then my family moved to Singapore and milk there is waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy different than milk here in the states and I was not a fan. It really turned me off of milk.

 

We've never discussed fake crab salad.

Gifs for breakfast

 

We're doing a "foil bake" for dinner tonight. Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn, and Sausage, seasoned with Old Bay folded into foil and cooked in the oven. Not sure how this will go since it's the 1st time but I'm excited.

 

Are you putting any liquid in the bake?

 

Nothing outside of any juices from the sausage as they will be sliced.

I really want to do these on the grill but it is rather unbearable hot to sit outside in front of a grill.

 

I'm going to assume my invitation was lost I the mail.

 

I would consider adding a little bit of beer or white wine... Just a splash to make sure it doesn't dry out as your shrimp are going to be cooked way before your potatoes. It sounds absolutely delicious though.

 

I really want to go to pieology because that's turned into my favorite place. This means I'm trying to subtlety hint at my friend that they should join me but they are hesitant. I need to find a person who will go to whatever food place with me and talk for a bit because my friends aren't fans of my food place choices.

 

That's a good idea. Gotta swing by the grocery store on my way home and i was thinking lemons or lemon juice would be a nice addition, too.

i think some lemon slices would be great in there. Maybe a small amount of butter too, crushed red pepper, a bay leaf, some fresh tarragon... Lots of options for you to play with.

 

I thought Pieology was a place for dessert pies. Kind of disappointed
