Yeah. It definitely looks like Mason’s trying to pull the helmet off and Myles’ reaction is to do the same. Obviously, in the end, Garrett is most at fault for taking things way too far, but it’s not like Mason was some harmless bystander.

Gonna go ahead and say the guy that drags you down 3 seconds after the ball is gone, lays on you, wont create distance and ultimately rips your helmet off is in the wrong when he's in a game with 8 seconds left....and in case you werent sure, he then uses that helmet to assault a dude.

Rudolph should have walked away, but I cant blame him one bit for fighting back...and its as much on the refs for letting that happen and not immediately jumping in, whistles blaring, after Rudolph got dragged down.

Well, the won't create distance part might have to do with the Rudolph holding onto the helmet thing.

Let's just go with "Garrett started it with unnecessary roughness" and hand him a 16 game suspension.

Pouncey - 1-2 games
Ogunjobi - Money
Rudolph - idk, some money or whatever

 

Give Rudolph the ultimate punishment, he cant wear a MAGA hat again

I'll say, the Ogunjobi shove at the end is delightfully shitty. Its completely wrong...because he's got 100lbs on Rudolph and is shoving him from behind...but, also correct to say "the fuck, dude!"

 

Garrett should be suspended for the remainder of the season.

He could have literally killed Rudolph if he hit him with a different part of the helmet or in the temple. It's completely careless and reckless. No excuse can be made for him.

Rudolph did not start this either. Garrett hit him late, dragged him down, and then Rudolph rightfully fought back because the officials in this league are fucking useless.

If Garrett did this to Tom Brady, his career would be over.

That helmet shit was way over the top holy shit. I’m not squeamish about a fist fight but when you’re that much bigger and you use a very hard / blunt weapon... dude, Garrett is very much in a place of privilege to not instantly get arrested

Rudolph also suffered a serious concussion earlier in the season. This could have been so much worse.

Get Myles Garrett out of the game for the rest of the season.
