There's such a double-standard in rock music where you can't talk about how much you dislike classic rock. So yes, he's being blunt and talking about how classic rock suck ass. But since it's not about a breakup or mental illness it's booed, probably cause I feel like a lot of classic rock fans feel offended when they're called on their backwards BS.

Like why can boomers talk about their feelings on classic rock but millennials and gen z can't? It makes no sense, and everyone who loves classic rock is literally proving their point. Y'all can't handle change, which is why new rock bands never blow up but oldheads Metallica, Tool, & Guns N' Roses are still headlining rock festivals.
