If he doesn't want to be involved in the actual wrestling side of things then what could AEW have him do? They don't have a talk show like that. They could have made him a commentator I guess but it's too late for that now.

 

And yeah I guess I'm also in the same boat that I wanted punk in aew. Manager, commissioner, announcer. Man any of it would be big

 

It’s such a fast watch. Plus, I think they have some of the best wrestling characters going right now; they’re people that you can really get behind and want to follow. Nick Aldis is a champion’s champion. Tim Storm is super awesome and sympathetic. Eddie Kingston has intensity and charisma for days.

plus, those commercials. Tire irons & waffles? Yes, please.

People want Punk to wrestle until he gets back into the ring and ends up being terrible

 

The last episode I watched she did that run in on Marti Belle. Already have a soft spot for Thunder Rosa since she lives here in my hometown

 

Lol it’s a joke within the thread. When he was released from WWE, like 10 of us posted it in the thread all scattered throughout and someone will bring it up every once in a while

 

Also Joe Galli is like the man on the street news reporter here so it always throws me off when they have him covering some trivial event on the news

That's pretty awesome. She seems GREAT. I remember her from Lucha Underground (Kobra Moon), but I didn't think she was very good then... I think you'll be pretty happy with what NWA seems to be doing with her. She's got some fire, man. In the ring and on the mic.

Obviously. But, Punk has also been out of the ring for nearly 6 years. So who knows what he even has in the tank? I'd much rather them devote time to finding out what they have in Darby and Private Party and P&P and Sammy etc etc etc. If they're gonna spend big money recruiting people it should be to help out the women's division which could use some work. Go get AJ Lee haha

 

From what I read he's pretty much always training for MMA, I honestly can't speak for very recently but i've always heard he is training even if he doesn't have a fight set up as it is a passion of his. I'd bet he's at least in good shape still. How that translates to pro wrestling? Idk. I just wanna see him walk to the ring with Cult Of Personality blasting tbh, whatever happens after, happens.
