  1. Gargano has a neck injury. Won’t be wrestling at Wargames.

I don’t know what’s more surprising: this or the fact that Werner Herzog doesn’t watch tv or movies but he will watch Wrestlemania

Not gonna lie, I’m happy as hell that Punk is back doing something with WWE. His pipe bomb got me back into wrestling and him leaving coincided with my interest in the main roster waning.

I know it’s only a Fox thing and not a proper WWE thing, but this could be the first step to mending that hideously disfigured fence haha

I wonder if they’ll have CM Punk break the news about Nick Miller being released

  12. The biggest return WWE could ever have and it’s the most anticlimactic thing they’ve done yet.

They need that ratings pop. The show bombed it's first week.

Anyways, Big E's reaction is awesome

Isn’t he supposedly being paid by Fox and not WWE? Or is that bullshit

WWE didn’t pay him a thing and it wasn’t their “biggest return ever” to book. Fox did it. He doesn’t work for WWE. That’s the only reason this happened lol

  17. WWE had to approve it. Fox can’t just trot any guy out there.

and there’s no point in arguing the “ever” part of what I said. That answer will be different for everyone. Regardless, it’d be a massive return and it’s one fans have been wanting for like 5 years now. If this is their way of “getting their foot in the door” for a possible return to the ring it will be awful. And if it’s just for a ratings boost for this show that ratings boost will be for 1-2 weeks before no one cares. It’s why WWE sucks now. They see their ratings are down and their solution is a few weeks of fucking Tyson Fury. Or Cain Velasquez. They just throw money at a name people recognize, do nothing meaningful with it, then the ratings go down again.

Fox has dictated nearly every bit of WWE since signing the check. Why do you think all the sudden WWE is the one who wears the pants?

They’ve gotten the roster they want, the title changes they want, everything.

Lol I don’t think I’m overreacting in saying Fox has the agency to get punk on their show without WWE being involved.

  23. So if Fox wanted Drake to come out WWE would just have to say ok?

I mean, you guys are acting as if Punk doesn't have a role in this himself. WWE's party-line on a Punk return for years has basically been "Never say never/Everyone always comes back eventually/It's up to Punk." If CM Punk called up McMahon and said, "I'd like to return in some sort of capacity," you really think Vince would say no? It's always been waiting for when Punk was ready to mend that fence. Whether it's Fox or WWE "wearing the pants," CM Punk still decided to show up for a WWE show.
